What is $LIQ? The liquidation coin

$LIQ is the liquidation coin. It is earned one way only: when a position is liquidated in COIN RUN, every dollar of stake the market took mints 100 LIQ to the trader who lost it.

How LIQ is minted

Open a flash perp in COIN RUN with real USDC. If the price moves 0.01% against you, the position is liquidated and the stake is gone — and LIQ is minted to your account the moment it happens:

Stake liquidatedLIQ minted
$1100 LIQ
$202,000 LIQ
$10010,000 LIQ

A position you close yourself mints nothing, win or lose. FREE RUN mints nothing either: paper money, no LIQ.

A fair launch, in the strictest sense

  • Supply starts at zero. No pre-mint, no team allocation, no investors, no airdrop, no vesting.
  • Only a liquidation can mint it. Every LIQ that will ever exist belongs to someone who traded and got liquidated.
  • The supply is capped at 1,000,000,000. At 100 LIQ a dollar, that is $10 million of stakes liquidated. After that, minting stops for good.

How much has been minted so far is live on Stats.

Burned for as long as the game runs

Minting has a cap; burning does not. Once LIQ trades as a token:

  • 50% of every house fee goes to buying LIQ on the open market and burning it.
  • Everything the liquidity pool holds above its $3,000,000 cap goes to the same buyback and burn.

More trading means more burning. Once all one billion LIQ are minted, burning is the only thing left that moves the supply.

What LIQ does today

  • The leaderboard ranks players by LIQ held.
  • Join Team opens at 1,000 LIQ: holding it gets you an invite link, and partners are ranked by how many of their friends reach 1,000 LIQ too. The top 10 get 1% of all house fees each. Read how it works →
  • Your share card says it: Liquidated in 0.6s at 10,000x on $PUMP but earned 2,000 $LIQ.

Where it stands

The token has not launched, and there is no date. Until it does, LIQ is a number on your account: it cannot be bought, sold or transferred, it is not money, and it is not a share in liq.fun, its pool or its profits. The buyback is how the house's fees are to be used — not a promise about the price of LIQ or about any return.
